Working as a correctional officer, wanting to find a good pair of boots?
Posted by: | CommentsI want a good, comfortable pair of boots for a lot of walking, standing, etc. I'm willing to pay around a $100 or so. I've seen Bates brand, also Rocky, just don't know if they're any good. I am a woman, if that helps any! I'm really clueless to what kind to buy. I don't want any that are too high, 6-8". Thanks for the help!
EDIT: I forgot to mention they have to be completely black, shineable toes at least, kinda like most of the military style boots I've seen.
Anyone tried that Bates Womens Enforcers?
Thanks again!
What to wear to go to the forest?
Posted by: | CommentsWhat do you wear to go to the forest. My friend has a cabin up in the mountains, It will be cold and rocky. My crush will also be there so I want to dress stylish for him.
How about a coat & some boots with a small heel?
I usually wear black & white, so no funky colours for me.
Please tell me some colours and an outfit.
Can you find me a pair of decently priced pointed boots?
Posted by: | CommentsNot like cowboy or biker style, like Rocky style if you know what I mean....
Do any of you have any advice on what kind of socks I should wear on-duty?
Posted by: | CommentsI recently bought a pair of Rocky brand-Fort Hood 8" boots. They're great for the most part. Not to gross anyone out, but my only problem is that my feet get hot and sweaty in them. I've tried merino wool socks and plain cotton socks with only minimal relief as a result. I don't want to have to get another pair of boots, but it's real uncomfortable having your feet feel like they're in the Amazon. I don't have time to change socks in the middle of my shift and foot powders only work for about an hour.
Do any of you have any advice/first hand experience on socks that can my help my feet get cooler and drier? Any recommendations? Thanks.
And a message to all of the "trolls" on here:
We bust ours to save yours! Remember that.
