		<description>Keep your eye open for some of those old Micky Mouse boots from Korea.  Those things saved a lot of feet.  

Really good leather boots are now tragically expensive - $300. You&#039;d be better off with trying cheap, insulated Walmart boots.  Maybe you could get some use out of them.  

But don&#039;t rule out military surplus stuff.  There might be something good around.

The best all around boot for construction jobs and stuff in the cold were &quot;Pacs&quot; - I have no idea what the spelling would be.  You probably know about those.  Rubber lower part - leather upper part - lining of felt.  But don&#039;t get them too big or you can get awful blisters in them from your foot sliding around.
