This is extra true if you are smart enough to get extra insulated winter socks. You may want to get one size bigger than the tennis shoe you wear. If you are walking a lot, lace them fairly tight for good ankle support. It is said that if you have a cheap brain but it in a cheap helmet. The same goes for your feet. If you have cheap feet, wear cheap boots. If you want to take care of your feet and be comfortable in the woods, spend a few bucks and get some good boots. You will never hear a man say he was sorry he spent the extra money for good boots.
