Big Bill seems to make some pretty good boots. Don't know if they have 10' though. I know Work Wear Headquarters carries them.

I've had really good luck with Cabela's 6-point boots. I'm on my second pair. The first pair lasted about 10 years before I walked the soles off of them. I've had the new pair for about a year and the sole is much better than the last pair, so I would imagine that I will have this pair of boots a while too.

I can only help you in one way. Stay away from the Rocky Brand. In the past they were a good choice but now it is different matter. My hunting partner and I both bought a pair of lace up Rocky waterproof, snake proof boots last year. His leaked immediately and mine did not last but 2 weeks and they started leaking. We returned them and exchanged them for another pair. Both pair started leaking immediately, just as the first pair did. They also created blisters on both of us. And when we read the insert that was in the box with the boots, it stated they offered protection against most snakes. If they lied about the waterproofing, I am sure they lied about the snake proof aspect of the boot also. Since we took the first pair back, we were too embarrassed to take the second pair back. So my advice- do NOT get Rocky boots!

A lot of hunters are now turning towards rubber boots because no scent comes in or out and they are waterproof. But on any pair of boots should say if they are waterproof or not. or just buy some waterproof spray for shoes.

Danner and Irish Setter are two of the better brands out there. I've always had good luck with Rocky, but if I had the money, I would go with one of the first two I mentioned.
