I totally regret getting Bellvilles. I agree on Danners.

Between the two, Danners. You might want to look at Altimas or Oakleys as well. The Altimas are amazing boots and usually found in any and all sizes. The Oakleys are the best made but you need to be in a unit that’ll let you wear them. Best of luck.

I have worn Danners in Iraq and I have worn Belleville in Iraq.
Danners hands down are the best. The are comfortable and the construction holds up very well under the most austere conditions…mud…sand…water….etc.
Belleville I have no idea who designs their boots but it has to be someone who has never worn thier product much less been in the military. For over $100.00 they are definitely not worth the money you will invest.
Another boot you might want to consider that is pretty descent…is Bates….they are pretty rugged and you can get them in all styles that best support you and your particular needs.
Good luck

Hi
When I was a army soldier In the 1970′s . I had a boot that was manufactured by a company called Corcoran . At the time they made the best boot on the market . I don’t know if they are still around ? they were good boots !

I don’t know whats up with all the haters… I’ve never had a better boot than my Bellevilles… most of the NCOs in my platoon last time I was in Iraq all were Belleville fans.
