In combat in the us army you can where a variety of boots?

You can wear many different brand boots in the army in combat( infantry) as long as they meet standards correct? like belleville,danner etc etc

As long as it is authorized by the AR 670-1 then it is okay. The rule of thumb is if it has a zipper on it, has a massive logo on it, or is about the same size as a Timberland then it isn’t authorized, no matter what your buddies are wearing.

AD is dead on. There is a standard that the manufacturers have to meet and there are a lot of them that do, so the Army issues out a lot of different boots based on what is available in what sizes at what time, not to mention all the ones you can buy on your own dime.
