What are “high tech army boots”?
nickname asked:
I have signed up for several army school. Several of the course descriptions say "no high tech boots" Do I need to contact each school and ask them what they mean by "high tech army boots?" or is there a unified army standard for high tech army boots?

SPECIFICALLY, would Oakley SI Assault boots be "high tech" boots?
And would Danner TFX boots be "high tech" boots?

You can wear almost any Oakley’s. Their SI Aassaults are alright. You’ll be fine.

“Hi Tech” is a brand of boot that is marketed to soldiers but does not meet the standards of Army regulation.
