Wolverine boots are produced by Wolverine World Wide, which is based out of Rockford, MI. In business since 1883, Wolverine World Wide owns a number boot brands including:

Wolverine manufacturers over 100 different men and women boot styles that are designed for specific uses like hunting, hiking, and work. These styles include both leather boots and synthetic materials like GORE-TEX. Wolverine also produces boots in different cut heights including high cut, boot cut, mid-boot cut, and low cut.
Most all the Wolverine hunting series boots are made with a mix of leather and GORE-TEX. The GORE-TEX is completely waterproof (not water resistant), but will still allow sweat and perspiration to escape. All the hunting series boots are also lined with Thinsulate for insulation.
